The founder of the World Curry Festival, Zulfi Karim, is to open a South Asian restaurant concept at the end of December, in Saltaire, West Yorkshire. Karim is launching Curryosity in Bingley Road, which he hopes will become a destination eatery in the World Heritage Site village.
The casual dining restaurant will serve lunch and dinner daily, with speciality Indian breakfasts available at the weekend.
“I’m excited to be heading in a new direction and to be opening what I’m confident will be a very popular Saltaire eatery and launching the Curryosity brand. Saltaire’s rich heritage and the network of local food producers make this the ideal location,” said Karim.
