The Chinese Buffet, founded in Bolton by Peter Wu with Paolo and David Hu in 2006, has opened in Darlington, its 11th site – the group’ first in the north east. The new 250-cover buffet restaurant is the latest restaurant to open at the multimillion-pound Feethams leisure complex. Wu said: “The vision from day one was to develop a Chinese restaurant brand to fill a gap in the market. The other Chinese Buffet sites are in Blackpool, Bury, Halifax, Huddersfield, Preston, St Helens, Wakefield, Wigan and Wrexham.
