Sushi on Jones opens in London’s King’s Cross

The US-based Sushi on Jones Omakase bar has opened on Goods Way in King’s Cross, this brings the best of the traditional Japanese experience to N1, in just 45 minutes per guest.

Omakase, meaning ‘chef’s choice’, is a form of Japanese dining in which guests leave themselves in the hands of the chef preparing the “ultimate Japanese tasting menu”, with 12-courses.

The Omakase experience, offers a quick experiencet o be enjoyed over 45 minutes and priced at a very reasonable £48 a head.

Head Chef, Mattia hand selects all ingredients daily which may include; uni, toro, and Botan shrimp, wagyu and more.

Sushi on Jones is “intimate and playful” with counter seating with some stools overlooking “the action around the grill.”

International wines and a selection of sake from Japan, customers can expect “pairing menus minus the stuffiness”

Sushi on Jones claims to gave has garnered a cult-like following since opening its first branch in 2016 – New York’s first outdoor sushi bar in Bowery Market. Since then, the group have opened two more branches, at Hell’s Kitchen in Gotham Market and West Village.
