Adventure tour company Lost Earth Adventures is offering adrenaline junkies helicopter accessed mountain bike tours in Nepal.
The seven day heli-biking trip, takes in the world’s with the longest rideable descent on earth, accessed by privately chartered helicopter.
Small groups get a helicopter, pilot and experienced mountain guide. Once in the air the guide shows the downhill tracks available, so guests can determine what face or ridge they want to run.
The helicopter takes people to 5400m above sea level to the west of the Annapurnas with 360-degree panoramic views of some of the world’s highest peaks with miles of untouched downhill biking terrain.
Top of the range full suspension mountain bikes are provided and are fully serviced each day. Accommodation is in luxury spa hotels when in Kathmandu and Pokhara, and in teahouses whilst cycling.
The trip runs year round and costs from £5,000 per person, depending on the group size. This includes all accommodation, helicopter travel, airport transfers and transportation for duration of tour, all equipment, return flights from Kathmandu to Pokahara, three days mountain biking, a fully qualified leader, porters and support staff.
