India-based fine dining restaurant Chokhi Dhani is to make its UK debut next month.
The restaurant in Riverside Walk, Battersea, London is the brainchild of chef, hotelier and entrepreneur Kriti Vaswani. She is following in the footsteps of her father, Gul Vaswani, who opened the first Chokhi Dhani in Jaipur, Rajasthan, in 1990.
As well as highlighting dishes from the state, Chokhi Dhani London will feature dishes from across the subcontinent.
Vishnu Natarajan, former exec head chef at Carom in Soho, will design the menu, working alongside Bhagwan Singh, an expert on Rajasthani cuisine, senior sous chef Mohammed Naseem Qureshi and pastry chef Rakesh Sharma.
The venue, opens on Thursday 12th April, and will feature a street food concept on the ground floor with a luxury dining room upstairs.
