Saffron Summer, the fine dining Indian restaurant in Chessington, which was named Best Asian Restaurant (London Suburbs) at the Asian Restaurant Awards, is to offer free meals on exam results days in August.
To claim their reward of a special celebratory three-course lunch or dinner*, students simply need to pre book using the reference ‘A Grades’ and bring a copy of their A’ Level notification with 3 As at A’ Level or 8 A grade GCSEs on results days. This year results will be announced on Thursday 15th August for A’ Levels and Thursday 22nd August for GCSEs.
In addition to receiving the prestigious Asian Restaurant Awards’ accolade received at a glittering ceremony at the Manchester Hilton on 23d July, the acclaimed Surrey venue also received the Highly Commended award as Best Newcomer at the London Curry Awards on 1st July.
Commenting on the giveaway, Saffron Summer owner Ralph Sousa said: “We want to celebrate our double award win with customers who also have something of their own to celebrate – and who better than the hard-working students who achieve straight As.”
The two latest accolades follow Saffron Summer winning the Asian Curry Awards ‘Best Newcomer’ and receiving of Cobra Good Curry Guide Certificate of Excellence award at the end of 2018. The restaurant is also ranked among the top 3 Indian restaurants in Surrey on TripAdvisor, with over 400 top 5-star ratings.

Students eating free need to be accompanied by at least one other paying customer.
