Tandoor at the Chambers backs World Health Day

4th April 2019

An Essex eatery is stressing the importance of healthy eating as World Health Day approaches (7th April) run by the World Health Organisation (WHO). The Tandoor at the Chambers restaurant offers a “genuine taste of North India” in the east London suburb of Buckhurst Hill, Essex in a “sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere.”

Owners Vip and Manisha Bagga  fully support the aims of the World Health Organization and their work, including in areas like North India, where they have our roots.”

Millions of people across the world don’t have access to free healthcare, and so may have to choose between treatment and other essentials such as food, clothes or even housing,” said Vipan, adding,  “The day could also be a good chance to think about your own health, and what you eat is clearly a key part of that.”

The Tandoor at the Chambers has four Michelin-trained, with a focus on locally sourced food and high-quality meat cuts. Vegetarian customers and those who have to eat a dairy or gluten-free diet are also catered for.
