Executive chef Jeremy Villanueva Filipino, of the award-winning Romulo Café on Kensington High Street, will be introducing new menu featuring Britsh produce with a Filipino twist, when the restaurant reopens on 18th May.

New additions include Beef Pares Mami (slow poached beef rib slices in a light broth, delicately scented with aniseed and garnished with egg noodles); Ensaladang Talong (grilled aubergine and tomato salad layered with mangoes and chili in a refreshing vinaigrette dressing) and Cornish Mussels Stewed in Coconut Milk & Ginger. A selection of seasonal cocktails will also debut.

A three-in-one Filipino dessert on offer is the – purple yam jam between a crème caramel flan and apandan-flavoured steamed rice cake. There will also be new Frozen Pimm’s and Fresa Martini with strawberries, gin, elderflower cordial and sugar syrup

Romulo has extended its nationwide delivery options – with Plateaway – with three and five course meal Finish at Home meal kits baked goods from the panderia, along with bottled preserves, breakfast kits and more available via the Romulo website. Deliveries can also be made through Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat.
