North west-based Indian restaurant Barton Rouge is to launch its third site, in Liverpool. Following a half million pound investment, the company is opening in Exchange Street on the site of the former Anderson’s Bar. The two-storey 5,650 square foot restaurant, which is due to open this month, will have 180 covers.
“When it comes to Indian restaurants our ethos is to shy away from the takeaway culture and instead capture the true essence of fine dining, said founder Amit Kumar, who added, “Our new cosmopolitan postcode will provide a sleek and sophisticated setting that will allow guests to explore new-age Indian cuisine at its finest.”
Barton Rouge’s other sites are in Chester and Heswall.
