Kingfisher Trade Support for 21st National Curry Week

3rd September 2019

National Curry Week sponsor, Kingfisher Beer, is inviting restaurateurs to sign up for a whole host of free support to attract more diners.

Participants can now register at a dedicated trade section of www.nationalcurryweek.co.uk to be included on the nationwide Curry Map, and download event window posters plus other useful sales materials. Registration commits to offering 25% off food bills for customers during the week.

Hundreds of restaurants are already planning to spice things up with special events to entice customers during the seven-day festival, and the Kingfisher Truck will be on tour to raise awareness even further.

National Curry Week is raises money for official charity partner Curry for Change that supports Asia and African communities to help beat hunger.

Rob Pietre-Cambacedes, Kingfisher Beer UK’s Brand Manager, said: “We are proud to sponsor this great week which supports the British curry sector and a very worthy charity. It is also designed to create fun for curry lovers and increase awareness and appreciation of the many different cooking styles from countries of the Indian subcontinent. Judging by the interest already shown, we’re expecting this to be the most successful National Curry Week in its 21-year history.”

Official charity partner is Curry for Change which uses people’s love of curry to help change the lives of rural families in Asia and Africa who suffer from hunger by providing communities with the means to grow their own food and giving access to vital information on nutrition and health.
