The chef behind Master Wei and Xi’an Impression has opened a third restaurant, Dream Xi’an in Tower Bridge, which specialises in food from Shaanxi, a landlocked province in central China known for its hand-pulled noodles.
Chef and co-founder Guirong Weiream said Dream Xi’an is a much bigger space and so allows her to serve a larger menu, with lots of dim sum and street food dishes.
These include fried bao filled with beef and onion, paomo soup, and pulled pork burgers in flatbreads. Although the restaurant is mainly about noodles, amade on site every morning and available in various sizes and with different meats and vegetables.
“My previous restaurants gave me the chance to bring my hometown food to London and with Dream Xi’an I’m so lucky to be able to offer many more special dishes – I hope people will love it as much as I do, it means a lot to me,” said Wei.
