The Golden Dragon restaurant in north London is marketing itself as a summer wedding venue, with ornate Chinese illustrations instead of floral themes, for up to 360 guests.
Designed by Stiff + Trevillion, the restaurant’s decor “flashes hints of golden hues and rich reds complemented by intricate black ink detailing.” A wall of gold featuring illustrations depicting a traditional Chinese dining scene spans the entire length of the room, while traditional illustrations appear around the space on lacquered murals.
Golden Dragon serves dim sum dishes such as iChar Siu pork bun; Prawn and chive dumplings; Crispy bean curd rolls; Crab meat and prawn dumpling in soup; and King prawn cheung fun from noon until 5pm.
A Cantonese and Pekinese à la carte menu is offered in the evening.
