My Makin Malaysian restaurant has opened its second site within a month of the first.
My Makan is the brainchild of Matthew Wilcox, from Norwich, and business partners Imran Abidin and Turki Bin Afif, who are based in Saudi Arabia. The trio met while working in food manufacturing in the Middle East. Their first site opened in Town Street, in the Horsforth area of Leeds, at the beginning of February. Wilcox has returned to his home town for the second opening, in Westlegate, Norwich.
The menu offers satay, noodle dishes and curries, with a range of sides and desserts, as well as vegetarian and vegan options.
