Indian restaurant concept Ronaq has opened a new venue in Edinburgh’s New Waverley development. Ronaq, which first launched in Edinburgh three years ago, is expanding its chain of restaurants into a corner site location linking Cranston Street with East Market Street, close to the Royal Mile.
The new venue includes a large ground-level bar leading upstairs to a first-floor 90 cover dining area, which is almost completely surrounded by floor to ceiling glass panels providing views across the Waverley Valley.
Ronaq’s director, Mohammed Shoaib, is confident that the new restaurant’s location will be an eye-catching addition to the Old Town’s eclectic restaurant mix.
