4th February 2019

FAT Brands and Franglobal Advisors are to develop 60 new co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express restaurants across India.   The joint-venture will see the restaurant company build and open the new locations over the next ten years.

FAT Brands CEO Andy Wiederhorn said: “We are very excited to expand Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express globally and serve customers our signature, all-American offerings.

Founded by Lovie Yancey, Fatburger has a range of menu items that include burgers, milkshakes, and shoestring or steak fries.  Buffalo’s Express offers boneless and bone-in chicken wings paired with more than 13 proprietary wing sauce options. It also offers fries, sides, wraps, salads and desserts.

Last month, FAT Brands opened Scotland’s first co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express location in Dundee.  The restaurant offers a range of burgers from Fatburger’s all-American menu along with add-ons such as chilli, maple bacon, guacamole, pineapple and a fried egg. It also features boneless and bone-in chicken wings and salads from Buffalo’s Express.

FAT Brands currently owns and operates seven restaurant brands, including Fatburger, Buffalo’s Cafe, Buffalo’s Express, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Yalla Mediterranean and Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouses. It has more than 300 locations across these brands in 32 countries.
